I really adored the way Burt stood up for his son as well, especially because he didn't know the context of the fight the two kids were having ( ... )

i can definately see where you're coming from with that opinion. a lot of people are 'siding' with finn. and i can see why what kurt did was wrong, because he tried to manipulate everyone into doing what he wants.
but i've never liked finn, and i've always adored kurt so i just have an extremely biased opinion i guess.
but i can also see that it's pretty obvious finn really wasn't intending to insult kurt when he used the term 'faggy', because a lot of people just throw the word around without meaning it in an offensive way. also, i think it wasn't finn's intention to jurt kurt because he was just angry and frsutrated by the whole situation. also, the footballers saying what they said to him really got to him, and it was like a 'final straw' kind of thing.
wow this comment is going longer than i intended haha.

Heh, I'm not much of a Finn fan. Cav and I joke when we watch the episodes about him, about how he only has one emotion. Anger. The rest of the time he's just got this neautral expression that reads "Uuuhh, I guess I am pretty stupid." (You have to say that in Nathan Explosions voice.)

I got the impression Finn _was_ trying to hurt Kurt with the word faggy, but his lashing out seemed kinda reasonable.

Awww, Glee. I want there to be more of it RIGHT NOW.
