[mod-post] you're like everything
Like-Everything was created by daynah_bo [Dana] & club-hypnotic [Younghee] out of a desperate need for inspiration.
And this is the how-to manual. :D
So this post is supposed to explain the mechanics of this comm. The comm can be compared to the simplicity of Yoochun: once he gets some, he’s all gooood [/end Yoochun!bias].
Basically, this is a picture-prompt challenge community [mods post the picture each week]. Each challenge lasts a week, from 12:00 on Sunday to 0:00 the following Sunday [Arizona Standard Time], and consists of a single photograph. At the end of the week, we’ll post all the stories written for that challenge in one entry. There will sporadically be contest weeks, announced or unannounced, for a little prize to keep you all amused and on your toes [?].
/EDIT: You can post a story for a prompt even if it's past the deadline. It just won't be in the collective post and if it's a contest week, only stories posted within the deadline will be considered. Sorry for any confusion!
If you have a photo recommendation, leave a comment and a link on that week’s challenge post. Keep in mind these photos cannot be DBSK pictures. The point is to be inspired by something beautiful and otherwise less recognized.
Rules:
1. Please be mature about fandom. Any harsh or rude comments/remarks will not be tolerated. Do not bash any other person’s work. Repeated offenses will get you banned.
2. Only DBSK pairings allowed. Crossovers are only allowed if the story is based off it [i.e.: no appearance of Sarah Michelle Gellar in a Buffy!DongBang fikku]. Original characters are okay but not really encourage. Just, please, refrain from making any original characters perfect in any way, bad or good [or else the mods might think you’re are writing about them, which will undoubtedly inflate their almighty mod-egos even further].
3. Do not change the formatting in any way. Try to keep the community neat by not editting the font styles, sizes, and/or colors.
4. Every post must have the proper tags [picture, pairings/centric, rating, genre, author]. For the “pairings” tag, please only use the main pairing in your story.
5. 1 picture prompt = 1 story or chapter/part of a story. No multiple responses to a single prompt by one person unless approved by one of the mods [this is for spam reasons].
6. Must post into the community. No fake-cuts. Although you can post your story elsewhere, of course.
7. Betas are highly recommended and kind of required. All posts are moderated so we will read everything first before letting it go public. If your fikku does not have a beta, then one of us mods becomes your temporary beta [we check for technical and grammar issues, not plot]. If we change anything, we’ll PM the file back to you for approval. We’re not trying to be mean with this rule, we just want to make sure all stories posted are at their best!
8. LJ-CUT. LJ-CUT. LJ-CUT. The layout gets messed up and cluttered if they are not used appropriately [and then Younghee will be sad].
