At last I come bearing recap, pics and video from Steel Train with Forgive Durden and Dear & The Headlights at The Social in Orlando on 10/25/08.
It was a weird daytime show and doors were at 3pm. Which also meant it wasn't very crowded and I got a great spot and some amazing pics/video.
adellyna and I hung out at a table along the rail of the pit, in the exact same place we were for Dance Across The Country a few months ago. Great view. Also, The Social is still TINY, in case I forgot to mention that for the 4709467th time.
Forgive Durden did parts of Razia's Shadow and it was okay, I just wasn't very interested? Idk.
I kind of loved Dear & The Headlights just for their name alone. Also, I have never seen that much facial hair per capita on stage at a bandom show ever before. And there was this little boy next to us singing along to every word and bopping around, so he has to be related to one of the boys and it made me smile.
We went up front for Steel Train. I forget everything I want to say right now except that they were obviously amazing, so maybe as I caption pics I'll remember details?
The front of the case on which Justin's keyboards sit during the show. I iconed it even!
Evan was shoe-less, so I took this pic for
o4fuxache. Jack was also running around in his socks. Boyssss.
HI EVAN. *waves* Also, a rare appearance by Dan. He was so far across the stage that I didn't get many good shots of him. :-(
Jon's shirt!
Singing Leave You Traveling. I LOVE THEM.
Jack makes weird faces in my pictures, I don't even know. I didn't even post most of the weirder ones, lol.
Jack's shoes. I am so artistic. \o/
Weird. Faces.
Possibly my favorite shot from the night.
Pretty much the only pic I got of Jon at his kit in which I can see at least part of his face. \o/
Evan was playing bass, xylophone and cymbal at the same time. See video later in the post.
Jack on keys.
Justin on guitar!
He could so be Jon Walker for Halloween and he wouldn't even need to get a costume.
HI DAN.

These are for
adellyna, so she can icon them:

Jack was giving us advice on how dudes are supposed to give girls backwards compliments. Then he said, "For example, uhhhhh...." and trailed off and that's where the video starts.
