I was going to leave a flaily comment and then I fell asleep, but I'm awake now! I really loved this, and I'm going to be annoying and whine for more, but MORE. I want more in this universe. Maybe that's what the DVD commentary's for, I don't know yet, I haven't looked at it. But I just want to know more about their lives now that things have changed. What you've got here though, man. There's enough tension and angst to choke a horse. The ending leaves me kind of hopeful for them, as Ryan and "Kate", while the ghost of Rick is kind of hovering there on the periphery.

idek if I made any sense. I loved this. I want to live in this universe for a little while. Not too long, because I think I'd miss Rick on the team, but you know what I mean.

It was such a chore not to let this one go on for 40,000 words, too, believe me. But that would be absurd, right? YES RIGHT. I was finally like, "NO! YOU WILL END NOW DAMMIT." And it actually listened.

Anyway, I am so pleased you enjoyed it. Like, full-on cheek-aching gleeface right now. It's these reactions I strive for. SO glad you liked it.

Now go read the extras stuff. It's, like, 5000 more words. That's more than this entire story, by the way.
