I love my joyful experiences - extraordinary sunbursts of grateful delight in being alive... But there are the dark, dark days of disappointment, disbelief, disenchantment.

Now, I rein in the sine wave. I allow a walk into the sunbursts, but do not allow the disappointments to linger. But I do drink in the joy, the deep joy. It is the good things, the beautiful things, the right things, for which I live. They can take away everything else, but my spirit remains.
