Something can't just come into being. Nothing can just, suddenly exist, appear. It has to be created. Computers, books, were created by man.
Similarly, the world couldn't just exist. It had to be made.

Who said that quote? They're wrong about the Big Bang theory -- it's not necessarily the beginning of the entire universe, but the universe as we know it. It states that all of the matter in the universe was contained in one singularity, and the explosion expanded it all.

I take it that you subscribe to the intelligent design theory, yes? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the basis behind the idea that since life and nature is so complex that it must require an intelligent designer to create it. Wouldn't it logically follow that the creator must be even MORE complex, and thus impossible to explain that creator's existence without saying that He must've been intelligently created? So, then, who created God?

Yeah, I'm glad you brought that up (who created God then?) because it
was on my mind as well. But I'm stumped, what do you think?
You (used to?) go to church and what-not, so what do you believe? Do you
believe in God?
