I had almost forgotten to say it [ because she's been holed up in the library or her room ] but I am glad that everyone is back to their usual selves, and I hope that no lasting damage has occured to anyone.

Personally, I was unaffected this time, [ perhaps because she wasn't human to begin with. The thought makes a dark look cross her face ] but ( Read more... )

Yeah, I got hit with the vamp one, too. I think I had a stomach ache from the blood for a week.

I am glad to hear that, Miss Faith.

I spent most of the time in the library or alternatively in my room. I suppose I should count myself lucky that nothing happened to my while I travelled between the two.

Hey, put your runnin' shoes on and come down in the basement. We're gonna punch things today.

[He saw that look. He doesn't exactly know what it means but he has an idea. He's dumb, not retarded.]

[ A little later, Tessa comes down to the basement. She's wearing running shoes - and also a pair of very loose-fitting jeans and a shirt. She's tugging at the shirt sleeves, clearly self-conscious. ]

I thought if I am to punch something this would be more suitable than a dress.

[She's going to get a wolf whistle and a big grin out of Tim.]

You look hot.

[Okay so he'd make the jeans tighter and the shirt lower cut before he'd actually call it hot but it's a huge step for her and he's trying to let her know he appreciates it.]

Come here. [He beckons to her. He's got a pair of fingerless gloves for punching the bag that he thinks will be just her size and will keep her from scraping her knuckles up.]

No, indeed. I have spent considerable time in the library lately. Are you well, Edmund?

As well as can be expected, I suppose.

Expected under what circumstances, though? You have not been affected by the changes into monsters, were you?

You really don't get out much, do you.

No. Is that such a bad thing?

How do you function staying in all the time?

There's books, of course, to keep me entertained.

And I do get out sometimes.

I used to believe very much the same, but at times it seems that things we believe impossible or fantastical exist outside of the sphere of our imagination as well. [ Tessa used to think vampires and such weren't real. Until two warlocks disabused her of the notion and proved that she wasnt human herself. ]
