Ugh I don't know, my perceptions have changed so much throughout the year. I think maybe as loud as lions, state of flux, or all full up with your love.

I was honestly pretty reluctant to start that, I really wasn't sure I was capable of writing something so plot-heavy and emotional and I guess I learned that...I am? state of flux was maybe a risk too because of the OFC, I've never written one before and she was quite a challenge.
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
You know, I don't know, I'm in a bit of a weird place with my writing at the moment. I guess my goal is just to keep writing in general. It'd be nice to branch out from One Direction now, I think, and I miss writing about fictional people. I'd like to write some fic for The L Word, maybe.

Well I mean...just enough to ease the bite, but that's hardly surprising given the pairing. I think maybe all wound up and short on time, too, or could make your whole world sweet? They seem to be the least popular of the 1D ones for some reason, but again I'm not really bothered.

ALL OF THEM? Except as loud as lions and leave you drowning.
Story with the single sexiest moment:
Ugh god I wrote so much porn this year. I'm just gonna do like a list according to my own opinion?? I like when Alex goes down on Charlie in if you like it i can do it again, when Harry grabs Liam's hand in slippage, the breathplay and the culmination of the overstimulation in horizontal like a quarter to three, Louis's orgasm in state of flux, Harry licking his come from Louis's hand in someone who knows how to ride. And maybe when Harry's trying to make it up to Louis in leave you drowning and Zayn's turn on Liam in all full up, if those aren't too long to count as moments.
Most "Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story:
horizontal and all full up felt really wrong but I'm not sure why, I think just because they're (somehow) even more explicit than what I usually write? I mean considering some of the stuff I've written in the past, nothing this year was that WRONG exactly. I don't think. Was it??
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
EASILY that boy's got my heart in a silver cage. I swear, I was barely into the fandom at that point and just thought the prompt sounded hot, I had no idea how realistic that dynamic actually was.
Hardest story to write:
as loud as lions, hands down. leave you drowning, state of flux, with the hope that you would tame me, and all full up gave me some problems too - I think just because they were some of the longer ones and were a bit more complicated than the rest. might like you better was tricky too, just trying to get Liam and Harry's dynamic right.
Biggest Disappointment:
I don't think there's a fic that's a big disappointment...I guess I'm not a huge fan of move like cagey tigers or settlement. And I'm a bit disappointed by the fact that I didn't post any fic at all for like three months.
Biggest Surprise:
I still don't quite understand why 'til there's no one left to hound you is so popular, the success of that one completely surprised me! I posted it thinking it was pretty crappy. And I was surprised by the reaction to horizontal, too, because I thought that was way too kinky and I was all embarrassed about it but it got loads of comments! Also I was surprised by got my body on red alert and just enough to ease the bite just in general, because those kind of came out of nowhere. (Although the same person is to blame for both, so...)
Most Unintentionally Telling Story:
I ALWAYS FIND THIS ONE SO HARD. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN. I guess maybe slippage and settlement? Just like, the dynamic going on in that is something I really love and it probably came across, those were pretty self-indulgent.
