did you ever listen to tech meetings? "the best good job a technichal crew member can have is to not be told he[she] did a good job, because if they did a good job then they weren't noticed." if you enjoy it, keep doing it, if not then stop after this year. you don't give up any positions or quit doing something just because you don't like it or you're not doing the best job in the world. Stage Managing is supposed to be the hardest job in theatre, the fact you were chosen to do it says something about your work ethic, your integrity, your dilligence, never giving up in the past, and you. " I get yelled at every day for one thing or another, but I don't just quit. [I'd love to soemtimes] If you quit, that's showing the rest of the cast and crew who don't have it half as hard as you do that quitting is ok. You don't want to settle for the bare minimum just to pass.
