I usually dislike the split screen 'cause it's so different from the rest of the video and it seems too fake and I usually can't get carried away with the story BUT... in this video everything worked so well, it didn't cut the video in half like I thought.. and it almost became my favourite part :P the other effects were also great, and i really love the dialogues on the music... Naomily story is so rich of emotions and obstacles and the way you put the images quickly one behind the other with the effects that follow the rhythm of the music (one of my favourite btw!) shows exactly the complexity of their journey. Full of angst, passion and love! Perfect!
Yeah I totes know what you mean about the split-screen effect it can really distract you sometimes. But I'm glad that this wasn't the case with this video. It's just I wanted to be able to show both their faces and mirror some of their actions. I hearted the angst and the complications between these two which was why I loved editing that part where the music speeded up plus the fact I'm a beat whore with vids ;) Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment, appreciated muchly :D
*FLAILS* OH MY EFFIN GOD! The video is amazing, it gave me chills and made me realise how much I love Emily and Naomi! I'm so glad you were finally able to upload it. The voice-over was really well done and the song was ♥♥♥ ever since you mentioned Trading Yesterday to me I see/hear them everywhere. And that song, especially that last bit, is simply amazing and works so well with Naomi + Emily. The editing was brilliant, too. How do you do that? :P I wish I could work so well with my Sony Vegas but it always ends in a mess, haha. Anyway, I think this is by far my favourite video and I'm definitely going to watch it a few more times, ahem! :D
And seeing that you are not "outside" but in "a bedroom" now, is your Internet connection finally back? :)
