Read The Shame of the Nation. It will break your heart. I wanted to be a school teacher, then I didn't. Then I wanted to again just to see if I could make a difference. Then I gave up.

I'll look into the book; but an aside-- I wanted to go to see Capitalism: A love story but it was already out of theaters here! Did you ever see it? Was it good? I ended up seeing Zombieland instead. It was good, but not the social-economic piece I was originally seeking

My dad thinks we'll have a second civil war-- I think he's retarded for thinking that. I told him, worse case scenario, a 9-12'er or crazed Fox News watcher will assassinate Obama, but no civil war; the conditions for such a thing simply don't exist

Capitalism was okay. Preaching to the choir again. I haven't seen Zombieland, but it was filmed in ATL. I saw Paranormal Activity which was not worth it, but the last ... 5-10 minutes are pretty original.
