I actually haven't seen Herz in more than a week. I guess he's really busy or something.

[Her voice sounds thick, as if she's about to cry. Everything has her nervous, and the fact that her own boyfriend isn't around to comfort her makes it worse.

[He doesn't even respond over the comms; about ten minutes later there's a North knock-knock-knocking on Shilo's door. He has a couple candies that he stole back from Regan, because candy fixes everything.

...Forgive him, Shilo, he's not even three yet.]

[Shilo stands on her tippy-toes to peer through the peephole to make sure that yes, this is North at her door. And it is! Hello, Shilo's favorite kittyboy. The teenager opens her door in her little white shift. There are dark circles under her eyes, as if she's been having trouble sleeping.]

[She manages a tiny smile up at him.]

[He forces a smile, and then it falls to be replaced with a sad, worried frown. His ears slant back and flatten a little, his tail dipping in the air behind him to barely brush the floor. He reaches out and takes her hand.]
