The lakeshore near the cafe was decked out a beautiful array of creams and white, with flower petals falling softly all around in the warm spring air. Closer to the cafe, a buffet was waiting, and tables set up elegantly. Small wooden pillars had been erected along with ribbons and basketfuls of flowers, creating a path to the water's edge where a makeshift altar stood. It was obviously time for a wedding.
Lloyd and Colette stood before the altar, with Colette in a beautiful white wedding dress and Lloyd looking rather dapper in a tux. They smiled at each other happily, both with a large blush on their faces.
Zelos wasn't too far away, standing next to Lloyd as his best man. The goofy swordsman threw him a huge grin as the ceremony began.
Raven was walking back to his seat, apparently being the one to "throw" Colette away, crying to Rita about "how they grow up so fast." Asch was sitting nearby, and waved to Zelos from his seat with Lulu. He looked rather happy and excited. Even Luke was nearby him, next to some woman that Zelos didn't recognize. The rest of the residents of Somarium were sitting in the chairs, all happy and excited for the new couple.
With a rather tearfully happy Tamaki reading the vows, the swordsman and the Chosen soon shared a chaste kiss as the crowd clapped and whooped. They ran down the aisle as the crowd threw rice, the new married couple laughing and trying to dodge it as best they could.
Zelos laughed himself, feeling rather glad for his two friends. "About time, really," he muttered, watching as Colette turned to throw the bouquet into the crowd. The small amount of girls gaggled around her as she tossed it, all of them laughing and chasing after it.
Hearing a soft "oh," Zelos turned to see Sheena beside him, the bouquet landing safely in her arms. Zelos felt the colour drain from his face, suddenly nervous. She's gonna punch me and blame this on me! Augh-! Better get ready to run-
Suddenly, the summoner turned to him as well, her face flushed as she smiled happily at him. "You'd better be careful. You could be next, too!" she laughed.
Zelos relaxed, feeling some colour fill his own face. "Yeah, well, I doubt that, hunny. I'm not one to be tied down," he teased back, suddenly hearing a new commotion at the end of the line where Lloyd and Colette were.
"Really?" she said, her voice suddenly sing song. "I wouldn't be too sure."
And then the garter hit him in the face.
.......What. Uh. What the hell was with that?
