I admit it, I howled with laughter at that point. My, you dislike Gwen even more than I do! I did love Tosh in this. I can definitely see her and Ianto being firm friends.

I'm thrilled beyond belief that you enjoyed it.
It was a toss up between; "a bulldog chewing a wasp" or "with a face like a smacked arse" i thought 'bulldog' would get the most laughs.
I do love Tosh to bits and actively encourage the freindship between herself and Ianto, they are just so sweet together as a pair.

I loathe Gwen with every fibre of my being, i truly cannot stand the woman. I omit her from just about everything i can within reason, apart from much earlier, unposted fic's, as i was in a Gwen hating lull at the time, the only one where she is prominent for the sake of the story is 'Unknown'.

No offence took, i only really do sequels if they are requested (need i remind you about the mpreg story (which is on-going)). Unless i really can't help myself ie the 'Suzie binge'.

I haven'd quite decided for myself what Jack got Ianto so i leave that in the minds of readers.

I don't hate Gwen but she can can get on my nerves very badly so this was fun :D

He had been taught by his grandmother, that if a person couldn’t be nice, they should be civil; if they couldn’t be civil, they must be quiet. More often than not with Gwen, Ianto found himself being ‘quiet’.

Heh! I may have to try the quiet thing myself; I usually overcompensate for wanting to smack someone by being over-the-top helpful and friendly.

i however tend to verbally assault people into submission, instead of smacking them one, (i love a good argument - one of which has gone on for about five hours), purely for the sake of getting in the last word.

Ooooohhhh... Someone seemed to be really annoyed with Gwen (and I'm not talking about Jack or Ianto here *g*). Liked it (but I almost always like Gwen-bashing *g*), and I even liked that you made Gwen and Ianto being nice to each other in the end.

But I hope there will be a sequel - I want to know what Jack got for Ianto and if Gwen can stay nice over a longer period of time.
