Interesting story full of great characterizations. Given the framework you started with I like what you did! Hope you do one more part as a finish but really like what you did! Thank you!

Thanks, 'great characterisations' is a huge compliment. I'm petty sure i'll do a 'finisher.'

I'm not sure what you mean by the 'framework you started with' bit though, i know parts one-three were...untidy to say the least.

It's my shy idiot way of saying that the beginning was a bit out of character for me for Jack. BUT BUT BUT you wrote it so well that that I completely fell into it and I've really enjoyed this.

Sigh... I've gone from foot in mouth to thigh in mouth... yeah? But really liked it. I like all your stories.

Okay... rambling off mode. I'm busy still growling at amused kitties for making my computer EAT my story MATE... sigh...

Well, so it is! "Quite short", that is -- so I'm hoping and expecting that the next installment won't be too far away.

I have a short attention span you see, so I need frequent, regular updates, to keep me happy, lol.

I hope you're planning on doing some more nasty stuff to Alex cos I don't think he's got the message yet.

I'm very inclined to leave it as it is, but i have a niggling little scene in my head that warrents a finishing part.

Yes well the 'quite short' came about as I'm too lazy to type all that jazz out again so i copied it from the previous part.

You say in a reply above that it doesn't feel finished yet. I have to agree - all the ends aren't (neatly) together yet.

I'm not asking for a Disney ending either, but I do want an ending that leaves me not lying awake at night worrying about either Ianto or Jack and where do they go from here. (And I will, you know)

And something needs to be done to Alex so he never wants to prey on unsuspecting victims again for his own pleasure. (Oh yes, maybe he needs a good dose of retcon. And Ianto should get the satisfaction of giving it to him)

I really dont want this to be took the wrong way, but what do you mean by ; "all the ends aren't (neatly) together yet". aw, you lie awake at night (or would) or a fic?
i find the "oh yes," utterly hilairous.

Im please, in an odd way, that you find it heart breaking shows it works, and yes I'm cruel just because i love being so, i agree its not the best story to read at lunch in fear of bursting into tears.

okay, so i'm really enjoying this little series. seeing both of their broken and vulnerable sides and .. yeah. i'm looking forward to the next bit. part of me is still hoping for something happy, but the rest of me has a hunch that that's not exactly gonna happen.
