Back home, did we ever spend this much time together?

[May as well start somewhere, leans in the door frame.]

No, not really but back home. [He looks at her and then gives a light shrug.] I had B.B. to look after and we weren't trapped in a fish bowl.

You always had the option of staying in Mexico with B.B. and I but I didn't want to pressure you.

Yeah. I know. [Lights up. Wills every bit of bitterness out of her head at the thought of B.B.]

We never had this much time. [Lighter goes into pocket. Folds her arms across her chest, still in the door frame.] It's so... settled.

[He closes the laptop shut.]

Well it's not like we can do a whole lot of traveling to get out of the homebody feel. We're stuck in this place for God knows how long. Personally I'd rather just enjoy the time and take things as they come. Instead of thinking too far ahead of what might or might not happen.
