[ooc: end result, Ted decapitated, Bill Quickened, have fun :)]

Ted stumbles into the road, a bit breathless, sword drawn and bloodied. He spot's Bill walking through the streets and begins to apporach stealthily, gliding up behind the sword master.

Right when Ted is behind Bill he whispers, "There can be only one." And swings his blade forward.

[ooc; Apologies for the late response. I was at work.]

Bill had felt the familiar pull in his gut alerting him the the presence of another. His thumb lifted the edge of his sheathed blade. Inwardly preparing himself to defend and attack. There could be only one.

Swiftly Bill drew his sword and blocked the oncoming attack just as Ted had whispered and swung forward. "You didn't think it would be that easy now, did you?"

Ted smiled, his eyes glinting in the light, "I could hope."

He stepped backward, keeping his distance from the man, wielding the sword in front of him in a manner that showed his obvious newness to the art.

"You wield yours quite well." He kept his distance, watching the man's form, looking for an opening.

Bill only smirked to Ted's initial response. He took a step back keeping his guard up. Ready to attack or defend at any given moment.

He half circled about sizing up his challenger. A novice. He thought raising an eyebrow.

"Well thank you. I've been a master swordsman for quite a few years now," Bill replied, swiftly wielding his sword forward in an effort to keep Ted on the defensive.
