Wedding dance prep

We seemed to have picked the song for the 1st dance & have practiced dancing twice so far. The first time was just learning how to since being told "just follow my lead" has never worked for me. So the first time, he put a song on loop & we just tried a few things. This time we danced the song that we've decided on.

That reminds me of all the work that went into learning to dance so I could dance with my son at his wedding. Even when following their lead, you still have to know what you're doing.

Good to know you agree that dancing with someone who's leading is a learned skill. Goodness knows when this is done I won't be able to actually dance with anyone else.

Because Kevin learned while helping me practice, I was able to dance with him too that night. But yeah, nobody else! Unless of course they're willing to do the thing where you rock side to side and never move.

"Moving side to side" is the preferred way (& lots of movement that comes from my background from Grateful Dead shows).
