Third, you don’t have to sit through movies that involve a) foreign languages, b) adaptations from any classical literature or Oprah book of the month club, c) unwed mothers bonding with their best friends, d) mother-daughter relationships, or, e) terminal illnesses… unless they’re brought on by a zombie plague.

I loved this - its my sentiments exactley LOL

Great fic, nice insight.

The closest John ever gets to watching a romance is Smokey and the Bandit. True love between a man and his car is just a thing of beauty. All the chick in the wedding dress did was disrupt the airflow in the convertible.

Oh thank gawd.
Oh yeah, the perk with faling in love with someone just like you is that... well... it's just pretty friggin' incredible.
Like getting struck by lightning thrice.
Ugh, and now I can't get Wallace Shawn's voice out of my head. *snort* "Inconceivable!"
I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing what other trouble our beloved Rodney gets himself into this time.
Wait... isn't it John's turn to get his ass kicked this time?
;)

It is pretty damn inconceivable how I managed to get so lucky… with Rodney, that is. The whole ass kicking part? Well, I guess that falls under the “for better or worse, sickness and health” caveat of the vows.

Love this new installment and I can't wait for more.

“I managed to wedge the cleaning brush in the chamber of my nine mil. Is that bad?”

*snickers* Oh, Rodney... such an appallingly transparent excuse for spending time with John. (At least I hope that was Rodney using that one!) *grins*

Hey, if it works don’t fix it. Although, actually, we spent a lot of time breaking things so that we could fix them…and get our daily fix of each other.

Yeah, well, as long as you love him from afar, I guess that’s okay. Believe me, it’s for your own protection… in more ways than one *glare*.

I've seen you handle a P90. And a 9 mil. And fighting sticks. I'm not going to step anywhere near your toes. I can totally admire your hubby from afar.
