Talk about the worst thing you've ever done. (Morally)

[locked to X5s/People who Know About Manticore and all Involved]

Don’t think that this is going to be a pattern. I’m not really a truth teller. I much prefer the dare end of the equation, but as this week is singing, and I want to spare some of your hearing to an extent, I’ll tell a bit of truth to some of you. And even then I won’t be telling the whole truth because there’s some things you just don’t talk about, even if you are telling the truth.

Morally speaking-I don’t know much of morals. It was one of those things they drilled out of you over the years. All that mattered was the assignment, whether it be anything from stealing information to assassination. We all were taught to do them all, to look out for ourselves and not be concerned with the rest of the pack. They completely underestimated the ability of children to band together, no matter how they’re raised, but that’s another story entirely.

The point of this is that I think that in order to consider something morally wrong, and understand that it’s morally wrong, you need to have something that most X5s don’t really come by naturally, and that implies that you need some kind of remorse, or something. Some kind of emotion that tells you that something’s not quite right with this situation. Most things are inbred, for the most part, but we usually need an extra bit of help in that department. Manticore did their best to rid us of anything that would make us think that what we were doing was wrong under the heading of making us the best good little soldiers that we could possibly be. And for the most part, it really did work.

So, as to the point of the question, the worst thing I’ve ever done, morally speaking? I don’t really think I can effectively tell you that. That would imply that I had a stronger sense of morality than I do right now.
