[Rydia sounds a bit better than she did a few days ago, even though she's not entirely back to normal.]

I know my housemates will protest if I do anything too strenuous, but I'd still like to help in some way.

[Please. Resting at home has gotten old.]

[But Rise agrees with that. Seriously, overdoing it...not a good thing.]

I wouldn't want you to push yourself too hard, Rydia.

[Hmm.]

In that case, how about helping us out get the party started on Saturday? Not too long maybe...an hour? We might need quite a few hands after all.

What kind of things should one expect at this party? [Since 'party' was kind of vague.]

[...that's not the kind of question to ask him.]

I guess... that's what makes a party? Though what kind of music will it be? [Since he's sure not everyone has the same taste and all.]

Something with a little ukelele! It's a Hawaiian theme after all.

[Why are girls so demanding...]

If I write you a set of directions here, will you stop asking me that?

[Deal with it, tiny Silverberg!!]

Whaaaat? No! What kind of teacher just leaves instructions and doesn't oversee things anyway?!

[Excuse me, who is tiny.]

I never agreed to oversee anything.

[Huh, a written message. She doesn't have a pen around at the moment, though, so she'll just stick to voice.]

Will we be seeing you there then?

I hope so! A Hawaiian-themed party sounds fun too. Haven't been to one of those in awhile.

I sure hope it turns out as fun as we're making it sound too. But that's only possible if lots of people turn up.

What is a "new feather"? Do you mean these funny wings?

Mmhmm, kinda. New Feathers are the new people- y'know, the ones that arrived the last few weeks.

That makes me a new feather!

[right? right]

...but, that sounds like a name for a baby bird...is that what we're like? I'm not a child.

You don't have to be a child to be new. It's just...[what's that word again...ah- ] metaphorically new. As in you've just arrived-new!

But welcome to Luceti. How are you holding up so far?
