What, like doors that go back and fourth, lines that intersect? That whole... [ he is not the best person to try and sort this out. he only so-so gets it, only heard things from lorne and whispers around wolfram & hart when he was a ghost and got a kick out of trolling the employees out of a lack of anything better to do. ] ...actions in one affect another or something of that sort?

Yeah! They're all connected, and like, based off of one Earth - Earth-1, if you will, but they've all gone on differently. But even if they're totally different, they all tie together somehow. [Or so say the multiverse comics he reads.]

Wolfram & Hart had something like that. Various dimensions, one firm, things jumped around as they pleased, 'causing trouble in one from another. Had it's own conduit, right in the building for talking to the bigger ups who can't walk among the Earth dwellers.

[That... is an absolutely terrifying thought.] Wolfram & Hart could totally be funding these mad scientists.

Um...I can tell you about the experiments, at least those I've seen. One made people fall in love, while another gave us thought bubbles above our heads--everyone could tell what we were thinking. Another made us remember our pasts completely differently, while yet another made people switch bodies....

...and there are some others, but that's what I remember best. Oh, and my name is Terra.

I'm Andrew. Nice to meet you. [And he sounds sincere - but, man. He's positive that each at least three out of four of those things happened in Sunnydale.] Those don't sound too bad. They're temporary, right?

Yes. They last about a week or so, more or less.

...you seem very calm about this. Have you been through something similar?

Yeah, this stuff is pretty standard where I'm from.

You're speaking of quantum theory, yes?

Hm, I might ask to borrow those some time.

There are some people that aren't from my world, but apparently we share the same kind of medicines and currency. Is that what you mean?

Yeah. Like, some details are the same? But everything else could be totally different.

That sounds about right.

I didn't understand most of your terminology up there, but I guess you know about that sort of thing? It's occurred to you before?

Sort of. The place I used to live was on top of hotspot for demon activity, so weird stuff happened all the time.

... I didn't understand a bloody thing you said until that last sentence, mate.

I don't know much about the experiments, but I hear people get kidnapped a lot and... it's sadistic, is what it is. They took Hermione and Harry and the both of them came back all wonky, and I heard Luna came back with a broken leg, but that was before I got here.

Well, it's- [and distracted.]

... Did you just say Hermione?

Yeah. Curly-haired girl who practically lives in the library. You know her?

Uhm, I've heard of her. And - Harry, Harry Potter? And you mean, like, Luna Lovegood?
