Career news!
So I guess I have a job. The guy said he would call me for orientation some time next week (probably Friday). Woot. He wanted me to come in tomorrow but I have to take my mom to the hospital to have surgery and it's an all day kinda deal. Bummer and stuff. But yay for a job! It's a Housekeeper/CNA job. I dunno. So after much doctoring of my throat I finally fell asleep.... and then the alarm didn't go off. So I had to call the place I have an interview at and look like an irresponsible idiot. Woot. Awesome.

Of course, the day that I decide I have to be responsible I'm sick. Of course. My throat is KILLING me. It kept me up all night. I guess complaining a lot in your journal about how much you dislike your job sends the universe a message that you don't need it. Scheduling got messed up, no on called me to tell me I was supposed to work YESTERDAY from 11-5 therefore I have no job.
Wonderful.

Stupid job!!!
So I am only scheduled to work this week today and tomorrow... next week... NOTHING. So I'm taking this as the Universe's way of kicking my ass into gear. There's a reason I'm not getting any hours and I really believe it's because I'm working at JoAnn's.
