This was awesome and so hard to read of Dean's pain and angst. Dean always did try his best to give Sam what he needed and so many times it felt that Sam just totally took that all for granted and never truly considered the cost it was to Dean.

I would love to see a continuation with this story. The aftermath when Sam gets the note. In Sam's current state of mind, does he try to find Dean, or does he go back his normal life that he has been threatening Dean with, ad nauseum, ever since they got back together. If Sam were presented with this scenario in the Show, I honestly don't know what Sam would actually do. But I do love it that Dean finally leaves Sam. Sam has left Dean one too many times, it is about time that Dean cut the strings and leave himself. Bring on the sequel. Please.

Which is why I'm gonna write a sequel, promise! The last line of the story is the beginning of something that will change Dean's fate forever *dramatic music*

Very well written and you can almost feel the emotions going through Dean's head... I really hope you add more sometime... the ? after the end is like a tease and this is just so moving it almost begs for more. Thanks for sharing....

How I wish the show would just go there. Have Dean realize that he's not #1 on Sam's list. Never was and never will be and just leave. Let Sam deal with that for once.

Wow. This is very well done. So much truth here. I have to say I am also bi-bro and love them both so much. I can see both of their viewpoints, and can identify in certain ways with each of them and with certain aspects of their situation as individuals and together as a team. You really would do us all a big favor by writing Sam's POV, I'm super interested to see your take on that, as I think you nailed Dean's so well here

Oh god, that is such a wonderful comment you left me. I feel the exact same way about what Dean is left to do. there is nothing for him to hold on about Sam. And what they had now is so unhealthy and... just unfair damnit, especially when Sam threaten Dean to "move on or I will" I just couldn't react you know?

If Dean was to leave on the show.... I honestly think Sam would be relieved. And it kills me, where is the guy claimed that he "couldn't leave his brother out there"? *sigh*

I poured a lot of experienced emotions in this piece and I'm blasted that you get them so well so ps: How do you know?
