Well, now that DeAnza and badminton camp are finally over, and mom deems me pro enough that I can drive during normal hours instead of in only in the wee hours of the morning, I guess this summer was pretty productive after all. Hindsight makes an optimist out of me.

Haha, if you're talking about what I wrote in your yearbook, I meant it. I don't give careless compliments.

I once talked to someone else while hanging out after badminton, and we got to talking about our friends, and he said that he really admired and could see how much you care about badminton even though he doesn't know you as a person. I thought about it and realized that he was right - but not just about badminton.

Ionno, I don't really care about how deep a post is or anything. I'm just happy to see someone post. If it's deep then it's deep. Don't like stress over it or anything, it's not like we'll hate you cause you don't write deep or something.

Bleh, I should like fix my bike and then we should go biking.

I see I'm not the only one who wrote that in your yearbook. O_o But you know, it's okay not to be all deep and insightful all the time. There has to be contrast, y'know? There has to be light for the shadows to appear, that sort of thing. If you only wrote about really meaningful stuff all the time, those posts would eventually have less of an impact.

Anyway, have fun at orientation! And post all about it, even if you don't come back all enlightened with some great life lesson. :)

And yeah, like Yolanda said, a post is a post. Its nice to see them because you know that person is still alive and you can see what they're up to now. Deepness isn't exactly required for anything, its not like we'll see you as less of a person if you posted something supposedly less meaningful. Just post stuff you think is worth posting.
