I haven't been on LJ for quite some time now. I was going through transistion and needed to gain some separation from the people who know me the best so that I could redefine myself without any outside input. well put. i'll be having a game night in March. Dress up when you come and we'll make it like a Cotillion and wear pretty dresses. ;-P I'm glad that you are feeling more comfortable in your skin. The molting process can be so difficult.

it is good to see you back. I understand the process that you are going through since I have just molted myself.

everything else I want to say doesn't seem to look or read that well on paper. Just know that I am very happy for you and glad that you took the time off to take care of you.

Welcome back! I can't say I've been doing much posting either, but that's how the cookie crumbles. What's new with me:

My worms died last week in the cold snap. More are on the way.

Job is, well, a job. There's some bullshit going on, but I guess there always is.

I'm anxiously following the economy, trying to figure out when the collapse is coming.

I just realized that all my updates are bad, which is a misrepresentation--I've actually had a couple of fun months. Went to WY for a XC ski trip. Still dating LA, who is a doll. Just got done with my biggest day as president of the Odd Fellows--the rest of the year is downhill.

I'm glad you're still dating her! She's awesome. I'm looking forward to getting to know her better when we move back.

And the OddFellows lodge tour was a definite highlight of our xmas visit. Thanks danimal.

Glad you're back! Sometimes you need to just listen to yourself and filter out the voices in the background to get your perspective again. So happy you were able to take the time you needed to get back on track and that things are going well ( ... )

i definitely noticed your absence and am so glad you took the time away to do what you needed to do for yourself- but am even more glad you're back. it was so good to read your longer post that you wrote most recently and feel a little bit reconnected to you!
i am doing well especially because i just had an amazing weekend in san fran with brett for our anniversary and in 4 days my whole family is coming out for my b-day- it really doesn't get much better than that.
