why does the media even try to tell stories. they are worse than 3rd generation gossip. so in hopes of straightening this mess all out, i sent a letter to several of the news companies.

mike lasher and eric johnson are in jail for 21 days awaiting his hearing. mike beat up a kid that pretty much provoked him and everyone else at the skatepark. eric stole his skateboard in the middle of mike beating him up. it was all taped by some other kid (not going to name names here because he might get arrested) that always is at the skatepark taping. the video has been all over the news and they are getting the story all wrong.

theres lots more to the story but its far too late for me to even be thinking about this. i figure it will be on the news more because they are expecting more arrests and a bunch of us wrote letters telling our version of the story.

1. you have me on your friends list and i don't know you.
2. i don't give a shit what the other kid did. he is in some way mentally handicapped and would not be able to defend himself properly.
3. provoking or not, just because someone taunts you doesn't mean you beat the shit out of them.
4. granted i think what the media is doing to the story is fucked up, yes this happens everyday. they don't care, it's a big juicy story. that's the media for you, and it will never change.
5. i think these children should be punished for their immature act.
6. no matter how much you and everyone else deny that it had nothing to do with jackass, it does. subconsiously, everyone wants to be like them. taping "funny" stunts and not getting in trouble for it. fame and money. who wouldn't want that.

this is stupid and i'm over it.

I would like to say thank you. The moment i saw mikey on TV i knew it was unfair. And was blown so much out of proportion. In that letter you wrote every point i thought in my mind. Mikey is a friend of mine and shown to be cruel, which he is far from. I admire you taking action, and at that, maybe you are shown to be a better friend to him than i am.

P.S. -i just heard about you journal and what u did and thought id check it out.
