So, I woke up this morning, and heard my mom talking to my brother. Then she comes in and tells me we have to leave for church in five minutes, because if we don't go to the 10:45 service I'll be late for guard. It wasn't so bad, I managed to get ready in time. Then after church my mom was talking to her friend, who I knew she hadn't talked to in a long time, but I felt bad because eventually I was just like, "We have to go if we're getting to TJ at 1:15."
So then we went to TJ and ran for a while - the only guard people running were Jessica, me, Megan, Chloe, and Kevin. I think all of us but Kevin ended up with pain in our ears, and we couldn't figure out why. Sigh.
Then more people showed up for practice. I got positive reactions. Mostly. At least none were negative. But I'll tell you why tomorrow.
At the dinner break Sarah and I decided that when Rent comes out, we're going to have a party. Then we started singing the "Tango Maureen." So-Jung was evil and recorded us. Upon listening I vowed never to sing again.
Of course, five minutes later... I guess I'll just revise that to, I'll never sing when it's not necessary and see how long it lasts.
After practice I ran around screaming with Alex, Jessica, and the frosh. It was awesome. They are awesome. Awesomeawesome. Then in the car I decided I felt like ranting, but I had nothing I could really rant about. Oh well.
I thought making myself some ramen would make it all better. But then I completely failed at making said ramen. And now my thumb hurts.
And now I have history homework.
That's what kinda day it's been. Middling to bad, few high points.
EDIT - It's really cool to listen to Mozart's Requiem with a Winamp skin that shows flames inside a crystal ball. So cool. Had you known me last year, when the choir sang said Requiem, you'd be surprised to find me listening to it now. Voluntarily. Likewhoa.
EDIT2 - Such an amazing song, I can't believe I hated it so much before.
