Froshfest is almost entirely 8th periods, with a few Saturdays. It's fine if you miss the Saturday Froshfest rehearsals (or at least it was for me; I was only in about three scenes). It might be a little more of an issue if you were a lead or something, but it's really not a big deal. People do it every year.

I think So-Jung was doing guard when she was in FroshFest too.

Ahahaha. We were supposed to have a show the night of a home game, but it turned out that the show didn't happen. It's a long story, but it all worked out.

you can always request either a small part or to be an extra. Extras don't have to do ANYTHING except 8th period rehearsals...

It also helps if you know and/or talk to the people who would be directing it, cause then if you have to miss something they can help you with the part later.

Plenty of people do it, it shouldn't be any big problem
