You won't regret it if you are at an understanding with your life now. Obviously _I_ cannot say "i didn't regret such and such when i was 80...", but i can say this:
If you are comfortable with how life is going so far, and you are doing things that make you happy, then why would you need that stuff? Hell, I haven't had sex in forever... i am still happy... horny, but happy

I guess I just suffer from discontentment. All people feel that way sometimes, I suppose. Thank you for the condolences.

Although I think the concept of marriage is an outdated and primitive religious tool used to ensure growth of a single religious organization through controlled breeding, I gotta say...life before sex was a whole lot simpler. Of course, would I change anything and not have sex if I had the choice...nah. Ignorance might be bliss, but it's not an excuse for sitting out on life.

And don't forgive those college students. Some people are better off with a hatchet separating their sneer from their popped-collars.

Thanks for the comment. Perhaps you're right. It's probably better to live a more balanced life rather than depriving oneself from things... althought the subject can be quite complex. When we talk about abstentise, we would have to factor in one's motive as well. If someone does it just because a religion tells them to do it, then I wouldn't see that as something positive. But if someone refrains from sex in order to set an example for younger people, for instance, just to show you can still have fun and live responsibly, then I would see that as much more positive.

Thanks again for the post.

interview... for you! littlepobo September 16 2005, 14:24:24 UTC
1.) Where do you wish to see yourself in 5 years?
2.) What is one thing you have thought about me but never said to my face?
3.) If you could do one thing guilt-free, what would it be?
4.) What is the worst thing you have ever thought?
5.) If you could change one thing in (personal and/or world) history, what would it be and why?
