ok. it's summer. right now i'm stuck either babysitting sawyer or going to school with momma. today i've chosen to go to school with momma. haha. well. these people are juniors and just finishing geometry. note to all those reading this i never went to silas (the school my momma teaches at). they will graduate only taking up to trig. that's scarey ( Read more... )

not all of us get the chance of a greater education out here...I wish it was but the only alternative we have is private school and not many can afford that...I didn't learn anything in my Geometry class with Mr. Mitchell at Butler last year so at least maybe Miss Patti is teaching them Geometry...Adv Seniors take Pre-Cal...The juniors that are taking Geometry this year took Algebra II last year. Whereas Chelsea and I took Geometry last year and took Algebra II this year...

I'm not fighting or trying to start anything. I'm just letting you know why things are the way they are. It was good seeing you and I saw that you wore your orange shirt that said "06" on it with the dragon. :)

about this silas is better than butler we are actually taught stuff we may not be at ASMS but we have fun and learn at the same time it is messed up that you think we are stupid because we dont go there but we arent we actually are the smartest class there to you that may not say much but we are and we enjoy that we work our butts off to keep our grades up and as jess said about the maths we got messed upo because the county but we will be taking Adv. Math next year which is Trig, Pre Cal and all that fun stuff together. BTW I ma not being mean but i do wish you would not say stuff about silas when you have never been there.

look i wasnt bein rude to her but it just kinda ticked alot of ppl off about what she said. and i dont know you or her just one of my friends told me what she wrote i wasnt being rude to anyone i was just telling her what was truely up

Look, jus b/c we're in a normal public school doesn't mean we're getting any less of an education..Big whoop, ya'll go to ASMS...well we may not be the smartest but atleast we're normal teens and we do enjoy going to school and learning like everybody else..And yes, Silas is soo much better than butler.I know, I've been to both schools!!Thank You very much!

Proving you really are an idiot. ASMS has college level classes. Admittedly, some people never reach them, but they're there. You can't say that about any other public high school in Alabama.

Yeah I do actually pride myself on being normal..Because I'll grow up being a normal teen and doing what everybody else does.I may not be the smartest or the brightest.But I do have pride in myself for what I do and I also have pride in my school.And I like being normal!! I really do!Because we're actually enjoying our summer doing stuff like skiing and partying while ya'll have ya'lls noses in books all day.But no offense to everybody that goes to ASMS...Because yeah, I actually do have friends there!!So this is to the people that think they're so much better than the normal teenagers!!!

I didn't mean to cause all this drama. I was just expressing my opinion in a civil way. I went to Butler and Silas too. Both have their good points and bad points. I think Butler's band is alot better than Silas's. I think Silas's teachers teach more than Butler's with the exception of Mrs. Gore who was the best teacher Butler has ever had.

I also think that this argument has turned out to be nothing more than people trying to show that they are superior than other people through typing insults on the internet and since maturity was a factor in this conversation, I believe it's lacking. Melissa was just expressing her opinion in a nice way and you (random_plan) thought someone rang your bell and placed your input in a completely rude way.

This is the last thing I'm saying on this matter because Whitney is my friend and I was just letting her know what I thought and I believe she is mature enough to know that I didn't mean anything rude by it.
