thank you Mr. Blunt and the rest of the govt for fucking a semi honest, decent, single mom in the ass yet again. so okay, i'm a single mom, i work the state for help (food stamps, medicaid, child care asst) that's it. i fucking try my damndest to find full time work and come up bust. i find a part time job that pays almost as well as full time

it's all such huge bullshit. Some of the low income (AKA non working) families I work with get so much money and food it's disgusting. I understand that not every family can work, but come on!- One of the families in particular gets free Infamil formula AND had enough food stamps to buy steak and lobster tails once a week. WTF? I can't afford Infamil or steak or lobster and I have a 50 hour a week job and a master's degree! I applied for Medicaid for Charlotte since I don't get benefits cuz I'm self employed and they tell me I "make too much" huh? ok. whatev... tell that to my bills that are paid late every month.

that's the thing is that my days fluxuate every week. i'd say 1-3 hours 3-4 afternoon/evenings a week. sometimes i work @ 2:30, sometimes 3:30 and Shawn doesn't get off until 3:30 and depending on where he's working and traffic it could take him 30-an hour of driving time to pick him up. fucking sucks. Kitty said she'd help but i'd like to see if i can't find other people or at least another day care.
