There's an artist, Nathalia Edenmont, who kills cats, mice, doves, rabbits, and other animals, mutilates their bodies, and then takes their photographs. She's on exhibit, among other places, at the Wetterling Gallery in Sweden. She has taken the top halves of five white mice and made them into finger puppets. She beat a cat to death with a stick.

Holy crap, I heard about this shit in one of my horse communities. It's messed up. petitionsite.com doesn't really do anything, though... if it did, we'd have a Daria DVD set. The tracking-down-and-killing thing, however, I will TOTALLY look into. Much more effective, you know?

yeah, when i saw the pics i was gonna puke- cause i have 3 cats and to think that could have been my cat makes it so much worse. i duno about the petition thing either but its better to be safe than sorry. hahaha id be glad to track down that fuck, i sware if i ever saw her id slit her throat.

actually she doesnt, cause i make sure to get my makeup that is not tested on animals. plus, the person who killed these animals not only killed them to put them up as art but beat them to death, which is a totally different situation. not to mention she did it to cats, which is illegal here. no one tests makeup on cats. and theres a lot of makeup corporation who dont test on animals.

okay thats not the point. just because "some" corporations dont test their products on animals doesn't mean none do. and yeah, okay, there are lots of makeup corporations who don't test on animals- well there's a hell lot more artists who don't include dead animals in their art. what's your point? lol just because not EVERYONE does something doesn't mean nobody does

for one thing, you dont see me buying 10 pounds of makeup anyways, and i do try to make sure that its tested on animals, no one cant be absolutely perfect. plus you never even come with me to get my makeup, and i dont always look to see if they test on animals, no. but i mean cmon, how can you except someone to be flawless like that? but my point is, i think its a little worse to kill an animal for no purpse other than to stuff its head and put in on display for people to gawk at them, why else would you think its illegal in the US? and i know fast food stores hurt their animals, you dont see me eating meat anymore. the worse part is theyre killing cats, domestic animals. its disgusting, that could have been my cat. its disgustingly immoral to beat an animal to death, cut it up and stuff it. especially a cat. or put mice for puppet fingers and shit like that. in my eyes, i think thats far worse than testing makeup products on monkeys. a lot worse. the only reason why shes getting away with it is because shes from sweden, if she was

oh, and btw, who cares if it's illegal to kill cats here?...she lives in sweden. and have you seen footage of her beating this cat with a stick? i think whoever wrote that was exagerating a bit. i highly doubt if she did beat it with a stick, she would go around telling everyone like she deserved a fuckin medal for it or some shit.
