Hod was my homeland, Adelle. Van and I's homeland, and Uncle Guy's. It was written in the score that Hod would fall; and so, before I was born, Hod was attacked. The Massacre eventually led to Hod falling into the Qliphoth.

... Have we ever explained to you about the Qliphoth?

I'm sure they wanted to stop it, sweetheart, but they were overwhelmed by the amount of attackers. I don't know much about Hod before it was attacked, but I do recall Van telling me once when I was young, that Hod was usually very peaceful.

That's correct. The Qliphoth used to be filled with Miasma, but it's no longer there. Or, I hope it's no longer there in your time. It isn't in my time.
