my uncles are having to evacuate from their home in the french quarter in new orleans tonight. they've got 7 dogs and a parrot with them so they originally planned to sit out the hurricane, but after the levees broke today everyone in the city has to get out. my mom has volunteered my grandfather's house in abbeville as a place for them to stay-so ( Read more... )
