I know I should be working on TAGR PT2, but I went out of town with my sister yesterday and was bunnied. The open road is a great place for two people to bond.

Summary: Two thousand miles and more ghosts than that to haunt them.

an ed/winry story with possible plot? wow, don't see many of those...

Anyways... I like the start. I can see ed being restly in one place, especailly without being about to research or anything without think about his loss. And winry reaction was perfect. i like how you mention her fubbling around more everytime ed said something because of her fear of him leaving. good luck with this, hopefully it'll help you get past the writers block you're having with the other story.
