I was working yesterday and I served this one customer who was probably slightly mentally disabled and also had at least slight OCD. He had four $5 notes and wanted to change them for new ones. So I took out my huge stack of $5 notes and he proceeded to check every single one and see which ones were the best. He got quite annoyed actually, because ( Read more... )

I think it's great that your manager and you had the patience to give him new notes. I tend to think people these days don't have that sort of compassion.

When I was at maccas I had some random who hadn't even bought anything and wanted to change his 50c coins for our shiniest ones. It was ok at first, and I tried to find the best for him, but he stayed for aaages and didn't seem satisfied with any of them and it was stupid because he was only going to spend them anyway and we had a great big queue that needed to be served.
I don't think he was OCD or mentally disabled though, otherwise I would've had more patience with him.
