In 2 weeks starts the onslaught of home study meetings for the adoption. This passed 2 weeks have been pretty killer, like, in a bad way. My uncle died, whom I was very close to. We were supposed to go to Dinah Shore week, but spent that vacation time in mourning and at his funeral. We did take my lil cousin to Sea World though, that was fun. We

I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle and all your other recent losses. I could introduce you to Tracy's gf Kim who adopted a wonderful little boy from the county about a year or two ago. He is 3 now. I think she got him when he was 16 mos or so. Kim is in her 40's... Kim's friend Karen is also in the process of adopting through the county. They usually have get togethers Sunday night. If you're interested, I can ask Tracy if I can invite you over so you can meet some other lesbians who've gone through or are going through the process.

Oh.. I can so relate to what you are saying.
I feel like I am trying to a leg up on and merry-go-round-in-progress-called-life but I am afraid of the perceived accelerated pace.. does that make sense?
Sounds like you are in it though.. and I know too, that feeling of a whirlwind..
It's very inspiring to read when you do post about your progress. You two are so bold and brave, and I admire you very much!
