so after much persuasion from karen, sarah, and ari i have returned to the lj world. i didn't catch up on my reading of everyone's entries, but i did scan them and there are a few pics i commented on. christmas was good,now i am preparing for the new year's extravaganza at jenn's and have just been a little sad today (for a reason many of you know

it's so nice to have you back, tanya!! i know how you are feeling about your relationship, having recently hit rock bottom in mine ... even the coming back to (hopefully!) something better than what we were is tough, and compromise is definitely difficult. i think that as human beings, we naturally want everyone else to think the same way we do ... whether we admit it even to ourselves or not. it's really hard to adjust to someone else's way of thinking, even when we may want to because we know it's the right thing to do because we love them

i think LJing about this was a good idea. let out some of the stress on your mind. you don't have to come up with an immediate decision.. on anything! i think you are working steadily towards improving everthing all around, you always put in SO much effort, so to echo karen, i really think you will get mostly what you want out of life. i say "most" only because we can't have everything we want..

like you, i also see the ups & the downs, but what i think matters most is if you are h-+a*ppy78++-******* (sorry that was pucho) enough on a daily level. is he more of a benefit or stress to your life? are you growing closer, or further apart? if further apart, is the distance mend-able? taking inventory is a great way to start the year.. and i know you know enough not to sell yourself short!

YAY! sorry to be so slow to the game, but i am so glad to see you back, too!!! huzzah! i hope you are feeling better these days (a new hopeful outlook with the new year, perhaps?) and i definitely hope we can chat sometime soon, i want to catch up on everything!!!!!! i miss you SO MUCH. i agree with the above comments from S&K; Jon appears to be a good boyfriend from what i know of him, but ultimately you have to be the one to decide if the relationship is worth your effort. because i know you put a lot of effort into every relationship you have! so it's important you feel like things are even, from both ends, and that you are happy & getting out of things what you want to get out of them. (and like S said, if not happy at the moment, hopefully there is potential
