OK, so I just got my laptop back from the Dell service center...again.  This was the second time I had to send off this thing to be repaired.  First time the power supply became separated from the motherboard.  My laptop's warranty expired a year before, so I had to pay that out of pocket, about $500.  Yeah, I was pissed.  Anyways, when I got it ( Read more... )

Good lord man... I probably could have fixed your power supply issue. I've ripped apart three laptops in the past to fix a loose power connection. And for $500, you practically bought yourself a new laptop O.o;

I guess that means I'll be seeing you again soon, considering what you said earlier today :P Perhaps sometime you could bring yours and Fox Todd's laptop by and I can see what I can do with them.

It's a Dell Inspiron 8600. I've already filed a complaint against Dell computers with the Better Business Bureau. Now, we'll see if they'll fix my laptop once and for all.
