This and that...

Wow, it's been a long time since I put anything in here.  Partly because I don't believe anything interesting enough has happened to me since I last updated, that and I'm just lazy.  There's been a few neato things that have happened in recent months that I suppose are worth mentioning, tho, and here they are.

    • This past year, I got shot down 3 times at work for a raise.  So, I finally gave up on asking the Teeter Nazis for any more money and got a second job.  I work at Sunglass Hut 2-3 days a week selling overpriced facial decorations.  Yeah you heard me.  I don't mind the job at all, and it's rather easy, but just very very boring at times.  When there's no people in the store buying or looking then I'm just standing there bored off my ass.  But, there are two good reasons for me to stay, I need the money and after my first year I get a $600 allowance toward a new pair of sunglasses of Rx glasses.  Now, with that kind of money I can get a nice new pair of Oakley Rx glasses that I desperately need.  My current glasses are old and the Rx is out of date, so I'm kinda blurry in one eye.  All in all I'm glad I got this job, tho working 50-75 hours a week between both jobs is hell it still pays better than it would if I had just gotten a raise from Teeter.
    • Kitty and I met a made a great new friend, antirrhopus (Agro Antirrhopus) who at the time was living in Fayetteville, NC and is now living in San Jose, California.  I've been a fan of his artwork for a number of years, which you can see here, carefull cause it's NSFW.  Most furry artists that I've interacted with aren't very personable or even friendly enough to visit with their fans, but he's the exception.  He visited with us several times and even spend Thanksgiving with us.  We both enjoyed his company and we were both sad to see him leave NC, tho I know he's enjoying where he is much more than Fayetteville.  I know I would.
    • On thanksgiving, I prepared my first turkey with all the trimmings.  And I need to tell you, it was SOOOO good.  I found a brine bag at work called Perfect Turkey and decided to give it a try.  So I marinated the turkey over night in the bag and roasted it for about 3 hours and 350 degrees and it turned out so well!  And it was easy too.  I'm definitely going to do it again next year.

Well that's about all I can think of right now, tho I'm sure I've forgotten half the things that I wanted to mention on here.  My life at the moment is pretty cut and dry, just work work work and in between I may have enough free time to play a video game or update my journal.  Hopefully I'll have some more material to put in here soon, tho I know not if anyone will read it.  Anywho, thanks to anyone who does read this!  Much love!
