So yesterday my sister in law tells me that someone sent an email into her work saying that they have a 2 yr old Beagle that is free to a good home. She works again tomorrow so she is going to get the number for me and maybe we can take it. She said the email said that the reason they have to get rid of the dog is because they had to move into an ( Read more... )

Men sometimes eh... Good for you for sticking up for yourself though. I really hope the dog thing works out. Maybe he'll like having a dog once he gets adjusted to it?

Ick. I hate it when guys act like that. Mine flipped out when I said I wanted an iPod touch instead of an iPod classic, telling me how stupid he thinks the touch is and how he doesn't think I would use it, etc.

I was like, "It's gonna be mine and I don't care whether you think it's stupid or not. You have yours and you like it, that's great. This one is going to be mine, and if don't like it you can leave it well enough alone." He got so mad about it. But he came around eventually.

I think sometimes they don't realize what asses they are being.

yeah, he needs to get it in his head that we aren't going to agree on everything and we aren't always a we, we are individuals and I think he forgets that sometimes.

I had a beagle and it was my favorite dog but I couldn't spend enough time with it to train it and it was pissing and shitting all over the house(which I will admit was my fault) so I had to give it to my mil. But we went through the same thing. I have another dog that I got four years ago. My husband didn't want it and I brought it home anyway. He was so mad he wouldn't look at me or talk to me for days. Then he started warming up to the dog, and now that damn dog is his, he thinks he would just die if something happened to it. O_O I don't take him seriously anymore when he isn't down with something or wants to punish me with silence.
