I know this has happened one too many times to many people on the community forum, but I must admit this is starting to get under my skin. I usually don't like to express my frustrations out in the open; however, I feel this is the one time I should make an exception.

Honestly, I used to get angry about that, too. However, even though your performance may have been flawless, there was still someone else better suited for the role. So don't take it as a slap in the face, just keep working harder to get not only the good critique, but also the role. :)

Yes, I know. I don't usually let this kind of thing get to me. My emotions took control of me this time around, and I needed to vent to let go of all the negativity. ^_^

OMG That ALWAYS happens to me! I at least try to be helpful in a critique and I don't let people get their hopes up TOO much. I really hate that.

Also, this is really random, but I feel that I won't be cast for a dream role I really want because the producer seems like he'll be prone to "pity-casting".. Yes I think I made that term up, but he repeatedly said "I hate rejecting people" even though he loved my voice for everyone I audded for. >< UGH!!! Has that happened to you??

Ah, yes. That has definitely happened to me before. And it's hard. Especially when it pertains to an "dream role". But I just tell myself that there will be many more productions to come, and if I keep trying my best I will get it.

So keep trying. You're very talented, so I'm sure you'll land that dream role of yours sometime soon. ^_^
