The drive out from Cimorene's to Glasgow was wonderful, over the tops (and, luckily, no problems on a complex and 'no overtaking' road) and onto the M6 through Westmorland, and then into Scotland, stopping at the glorious Tebay services where we picked up cheese and biscuits and chocolate. Norman Foster is one of the few modern architects I really respect.

I have been fond of Glasgow ever since we went there for another SF convention (an Albacon, not an Eastercon, and at the Central Hotel over the station) many years ago, and stayed over as a holiday and did all the sights and museums.

It's incredibly photogenic.

The Lumix DCM-LX7 was specifically bought to photograph architecture (as well as macros and interiors.)
