Finally got round to watching 'The Dark Knight Rises'. What the fuck Nolan?

Lovely cinematography, great acting from the minor characters, total lack of sense in respect of the plot. And I'm only an hour or so in. My thought is now: 'No wonder Ina walked out.'

I got dragged to see that at the theater. I wanted to chew my own arm off before it was (finally) over.

inamac's comment last night was, "I thought I'd walked out close to the end, but it went on forever afterwards."

I happened to miss it at the cinema (mainly because Ina's reasons for walking out seemed good at the time, and to exemplify Nolan's worst faults - specifically an inability to kill his babies, even in the very best of his films.)
