Born East of the Medway? Much posher than the part of Kent (Dartford) where I was bought up. My sister is a Kentish Maid (and I'm a Cockney). When Lil says the posh part she means Chigwell rather than Canvey Island.

Have I got it wrong? I always used the 'second letter' mnemonic. wEst = kEntish, eAst = mAid. But the internets seem conflicted on the issue. Rats :(
