Snowfall
Slow and silent it falls
Snow covers the world
Covers the scars
Hides the traces
The coldness bringing shivers
To the otherwise numb body
Staring up into the grey sky
Closing eyes against the falling snow
Feeling nothing any more, finally
The coldness numbing the pain inside
The snow holding the body together
Which feels as if it could fall apart every second now
The tears hot against the cold skin
Leaving tracks in the snow covered cheeks
Arms wrapping around the middle
Trying to hold their own body together
And the snow falls
Regardless of what it may cover up
Regardless of what is happening
It just keeps on falling, covering, hiding...
