so i'm thinking of joining facebook. i just can't decide, but i'm mildly sick of the constant offers of friendship from people and some of them are ones that i would actually like to be in contact with. the big drawback, as always, is the thought of offers from people that i don't really want to be in contact with. that and i'm stubborn and like lj ( Read more... )

I oined Facebook a while ago after everyone god addicted an invited me. It's actually a great site, ten times better than myspace... but beware - you'll get very much addicted and spend too much time on it like me :| lol

i'm a HORRIBLE facebook person. I hardly ever use it. and i've set the privacy to as high as it can go so that students can't add me and see pictures of me when i used to have breasts. awkward.

but if you do join, add me ;)

too true- esp. how if you comment on facebook the person gets an email anyway! we do like to make things unnecessarily complicated sometimes by adding the middle step.

i really don't want people stalking me for purposes of gossip. i'm just not in for that. and i don't want the confrontation with people that i used to be friends with asking to friend me and then having to a: deny and block them b: add them when i don't really want to OR c: having a discussion about how we're not really friends and whether they want to be or if they want me to boost their friends numbers so they can feel good about themselves.
that sounds bitchy, but it's kinda true.
