Really nicely done. I miss Talia/Ivanova. *sigh* They were one of my first couples on screen. Thank you for writing and sharing this.

Thank you so much! Talia/Ivanova are one of my very favorite couples as well (though I have to admit, I did not discover them until fairly recently!)

Thank you! The really fun thing about kink_bingo is the wiki they created for the different kinks that are distributed across the cards. I wasn't quite sure that such a concept of marking would qualify, but I checked, and lo! there it was (link: here, SG-1 insignia discussion of particular interest).

And Yeah I miss this pairing too.
I know everyone says it all the time, but why oh why, did their plot line have to end early?

Because the actress wanted respect and a commitment to her character being on the show. And of course the same pay scale as the boys. Of course Ivanova left for the same reasons, ground breaking on screen - same old shit behind the scenes

Yes, I had read that contract negotiations got somewhat messy in both cases. At least A.T. ended up on NYPD Blue, which was pretty darn awesome. I'm just a bit selfish and am still sad that out of all the romance plot lines on the show, the one that ended abruptly was the one I liked most.

This is a fascinating piece. I really like the idea of using the gloves as a mark, as opposed to the more "common" ideas of actual physical marks on a person's body. This more psychological mark seems more in character with both Susan and Talia, as well. Very nicely done!

Is there any chance I can archive a copy of this on the Babylon 5 page over at the newly-created Not From Around Here site?

I found it rather interesting, how perverse the gloves became, and how quickly. At first I wasn't sure if it would work, but from the moment Talia put the them on Susan, the fic sort of wrote itself.

Absolutely--I would be very honored.

Also: I just friended you (I've been meaning to for awhile now).

Oh, how interesting. I like this and it fits really well with Susan and Talia. I may have to reread this more than once. <3
