A few days ago an idea hit me. I was already working on an HiruMamo FF but I was totally unsatisfied with it and I thought, maybe there is too much story to put into one... maybe I should split it. And so I did. I thought it would turn out to be a short fic but I have already the outline for 3 Chapters and there will be more O.o
I hope you'll like it °~°

“Who is this?” Mamori rather whispered than asked. She could not help but stare at a black haired boy with handsome features who seemed to be about her age.
It was the first day in their third year and Suzuna had changed schools to be with everyone at Deimon. Now Mamori accompanied the excited cheerleader because Suzuna asked her to. She suspected that her little friend was rather nervous because of the new class mates but would not want to admit that. And suddenly they came across this very good-looking boy who headed for Deimon School as well.
“No idea, never seen him before” Suzuna answered surprised by the question. She had never witnessed the former manager being interested in boys.
“He seems to head for Deimon… maybe he is a new student…” Mamori’s voice trailed off. She was preoccupied with thoughts.
Suzuna glanced at her friend, frowning. Somehow it was strange to see the older girl like that.
“Maybe you should talk to him” she finally suggested.
This brought Mamori back to reality. “Talk to him…? You mean, I should just walk over there and… and… ah no, I can’t do that…” she stuttered. Gosh, why was she hesitating? Usually she had no problems to talk to new students, she would introduce herself as a member of the Discipline Committee and offer to show them around.
“Mamo-nee, could it be you are interested in this one?” Suzuna teased smirking. Her grin became bigger when the addressed girl blushed madly.
“Ahh, stop making these assumptions” Mamori desperately tried to avoid the question.
They had reached the school meanwhile. Suzuna left for her new class while Mamori made her way to her own class room. Having arrived there, she was greeted with an empty place which was usually occupied by the blond devil quarterback. ‘This incorrigible guy….skipping classes at the first school’s day’ she thought annoyed. She was quickly distracted from her anger because Sara and Ako came running towards her.
“Mamroiiiiiiiii” they squealed and hugged her as if they had not seen her for ages.
“Hey, how are you?” she greeted her two best friends.
“Ah we’re fine,” Ako answered quickly for both of them. “Guess what, Sara has a boyfriend now!” she giggled.
“Ahh no, he is not my boyfriend,” Sara defended herself, blushing. “Well, at least he isn’t yet” The last part was mumbled only for the three of them to hear.
“Wow, really?” Mamori exclaimed excited. “Who is he? Tell me everything about him!”
“Ah you know him… it’s Kaito from the soccer team. We went to the movies last weekend” Sara beamed, her embarrassment forgotten.
“That sounds so sweet. I’m happy for you” Mamori beamed back at her.
The three jumped when the door opened suddenly. They had been standing at the entrance until now but as soon as they glanced at the face of their teacher they hastened to their seats. It was then that Mamori noticed the black-haired boy from before sitting in the corner of their class room. The teacher introduced him shortly as Sakamoto Masaru who had moved there from Sendai and went on with his lesson. For the rest of the class Mamori felt unable to concentrate.
After school had ended she met up with Suzuna and walked her to the football club house. It was true that third year students were not allowed to attend any club activities but she wanted to make sure that the team was able to manage everything without her and Hiruma being around. Suzuna quizzed her about Sakamoto and she told her what she knew, intentionally leaving out the “butterflies in her stomach”-part. She did not know why but she had the feeling that it was no good idea to tell the cheerleader about that.
They were joyfully greeted from the rest of the Deimon Devilbats. Sena had become team captain and was as nervous as always when he does something he had not done before. But Mamori knew he would make it the moment she saw his determined face. She felt like this was the reassurance she had seeked for. Despite that she was a bit worried who might take over her former job. Suzuna thought about becoming the manager of the team instead of staying cheerleader but had not decided yet. ‘I have to stop worrying and to let go’ Mamori thought, ‘I have trust in them. They will make their way.’ She quickly wiped away the tears that had formed in her eyes. She would not cry because of something like that.
The Devilbats were waiting for possibly new team mates from first year who would like to join the football club so Mamori stayed until the potential new members arrived and then left feeling melancholic. She was a bit angry at Hiruma who had left the team alone at their first day without him as team captain. He had also left her alone to deal with this. Where the hell was he anyway? She went home and banned any thoughts about the former quarterback from her mind.
The majority of girls in Deimon appeared to be unable to ignore the attractiveness of Sakamoto, Mamori recognized. He was surrounded by giggling girls during breaks but he turned down invitation after invitation. The whole scenario reminded her of her own situation. Two days had passed and she still felt unable to say even “Hi” to him. This silly crush made her shy and nervous every time he was around. For this reason she was relieved that Hiruma still felt not like attending school. Musashi had told her that he would come back in a week because he was still in America. “What does he want there?” she had asked but Musashi had answered only by sticking his finger into his ear and so she gave up questioning him any further.
If Hiruma found out about this… she did not want to think about that. He would certainly blackmail her with this info or he would make fun of her, which she felt would be even worse. She knew about his perceptiveness, so she figured out that she had to be extra careful when he would return...

Masaru means "winning". I thought it would fit. Sendai is in the North of Japan, I looked it up and chose it randomly.
I hope I made not too many mistakes. Please tell me if I used any vocabulary in the wrong context. Sorry for absent Hiruma *g*
